Fall Family Farm day - Sat. 10/13 @ 10AM

On Saturday, October 13, The Food Literacy Project at Oxmoor Farm will be celebrating the harvest season with a Family Farm Day from 10AM to 2PM. The event will be held at Field Day Family Farm, tenant vegetable operation at Oxmoor Farm (9001 Limehouse Lane).

• Enjoy a fun and educational day on the farm celebrating local agriculture
• Make pumpkin ice cream
• Grind flour out of rye and make bread
• Prepare farm-fresh eats out of fall greens and root crops
• Garden crafts, activities and games
• Face-painting
• Door prizes

Bring a picnic lunch and a blanket.

$5/person is the suggested minimum donation. All donations to the Food Literacy Project are tax deductible. For more information, visit http://www.foodliteracyproject.org.
