Turkeys!

Once again we have turkeys for sale for the Thanksgiving season. We last raised turkeys in 2006. This year we are raising Bourbon Reds and Black Spanish turkeys, both of which are heritage breeds.

These turkeys are pastured in movable pens or "turkey tractors" which allows them to be moved regularly to fresh grass. Near Thanksgiving, the turkeys will be processed at Kentucky's only USDA approved poultry processer and available fresh through our local Grasshopper's Distribution.

We would like to offer our current CSA members the opportunity to sign up for a Thanksgiving turkey before we make them available to the public. If you are interested in a turkey or have questions, please email me or call 897-0283 to reserve one by Wednesday, October 22nd. I will then email or return your call to confirm your order.
