Grasshoppers Distribution

This season we are excited to offer additional shares of cheese, milk, eggs, poultry, beef, and pork, by partnering with Grasshoppers Distribution. Grasshoppers is the state's first local food distribution company, of which Ivor is a founding partner. Its mission is to be a conduit for more rural producers to access new markets here in Louisville. Grasshoppers will be offering a CSA for their own members, but we have made special arrangements that Field Day Family Farm members may also sign up for their protein and dairy shares (produce will not be available) to be delivered to FDFF's regularly scheduled pick up locations.

If you are interested as a Field Day Family Farm shareholder, this is what you need to know:

1. FDFF members have a $200 minimum share package (compared with $475 for Grasshoppers customers)
2. A one-time delivery fee of $30 does apply, and should be added to the payment form on page 4 of the application. Payments should be made directly to Grasshoppers.
3. Please include this blog or write on the application that you are a member of FDFF CSA.

When you sign up, Grasshoppers will contact you to confirm your package shares. For more information, feel free to contact general manager Berea Ernst.
