Smoked Gouda and Swiss Chard Pesto Pizza

Ingredients
8 thick slices smoked gouda cheese (about 1 in. wide)
8-10 sliced grape tomatoes
10” or 12" whole wheat pizza crust
Swiss chard pesto (or garlic scape pesto )
Preparation
Spread a few tablespoons of Swiss Chard pesto on a 10" - 12" whole wheat crust. Evenly distribute sliced grape tomatoes around the pie, then top with smoked gouda slices. Bake 8-12 minutes at 350 or so, or until cheese is bubbly and crust is baked through.
Pear slices may be substituted for grape tomato slices. Serves 2-4 people.

Hi Dana,I need to measure my wife (Susan Linville's) recipe for Swiss chard pesto out...She does all of her cooking improv style. I'll try to get her to do this soon.

I noted that the recipe above takes swiss chard pesto-- does anyone have a recipe for that? The Swiss Chard Pizza sounds great and I'd love to try it out!

We're going to try it with pears, and as soon as I can talk Susan into measuring out her Swiss chard pesto recipe (maybe this week), we'll post that as well.
